DANIELLE WHITE LINEN

Another study for the calendar...

A summer shoot I did in Sipaway Island with Miss San Carlos City 2008, Danielle June Villaflor.

FRACTALS

It was my goal to create a three dimensional picture of my photos. After many years of Photoshop practice, I finally made some works that is one step away from 3D artworks. There is really no limit to one's imagination.

Feel free to comment on my new found love...

The Tenth Commandment

It has been written that the Ten Commandments act as a mirror to "reflect" the condition of Man's souls. The controversies about each of these commandments still exist in the modern age of technology but Man has been too busy about living, earning and enjoying life that he has never opened his Bible or look away from verses posted in Facebook and others social networking websites.

We are all too absorbed with being heard and seen that we never have time to reflect on ourselves, our relationship with our family, our link with our past and present, and our deeds.

The tenth commandment, 'You shall not covet your neighbor's house; you shall not covet your neighbor's wife, nor his male servant, nor his female servant, nor his ox, nor his donkey, nor anything that is your neighbor's.', is one of the most abused in the current society who may think that God has abolished the Ten Commandments already. Is it today’s poverty that leads us to steal from neighbor? Is it the lack of communication with our spouses that resulted to having “another” woman or man as a partner? Is it the advertisements on the television or porn movies that lead you to sneak out at night and go to your servant’s room?

We may never be perfect, we may choose not to obey God’s Law because it is so hard to obey but the Ten Commandments is still the standard by which we should live our lives. God meant these commandments to be permanent guidelines that we should follow in order to have more consequential relationship with God and with each other.
