THE AVIARY

According to the dictionary, An aviary is a large enclosure for confining birds. Unlike cages, aviaries allow birds a larger living space where they can fly; hence, aviaries are also sometimes known as flight cages

The AVIARY is the concept of my first photography workshop about my style in post processing the bodypainting photos, how to shoot bodypainted models (since my advocacy is to relive and preserve the beauty of the Visayan culture of the Pintados and the colors and pageantry of San Carlos City's Pintaflores Festival); this workshop will also cater on how to open your creative mind and the most important is to learn how to seek for inspirations for our concepts in photography.

The AVIARY maybe a large enclosure for birds but it will be a venue for opening one's wings and fly to newer horizons.

The Art of Form

This is my tribute to the people who believed in my capacity and talent to create concepts for photography
and bodypainting. To the creative people whom I had the chance to work with in many photo shoots with
Hari ng Negros through the years. Thank you for the opportunity and the celebration of the Male beauty.

May it be in the deepest crevices of earth or in the topmost layer of clay and dust, live different creatures that guard and inhabit this beautiful planet. People, animals and plants dwell but there are also creatures lurking faintly, unseen or sometimes seen by the naked eye. Are these creatures true or just a creative figment of an imaginative brain.

We live outside the touch of time.

"To the outside world we all grow old. But not to brothers ans sisters. We know each other as we always were. We know each other's hearts. We share private family jokes. We remember family feuds and secrets. family griefs and joys. We Live outside the touch of time.

They say that it is an effective way to start writing or speaking in public with a quote or a question. As my little brother celebrates his 42nd birthday tomorrow, I start the celebration with this small gift of a mosaic work which I did for hours. This might be a small one but the pictures and memories that composes the bigger photo embrace stories of love, misunderstanding and forgiveness, hidden secrets, longing and healing.
To Alvin, may you always shine on us. Everyone looks up to you because they know you care a lot, to feel a lot. As your elder one, you are my sustainer and my dependent, my bestest friend and my rival and yes, you are my equal.
I will always love you, Nonong. Happy Birthday my brother.
